Just look at the south end of town where all the power lines have been underground for between 30 and 40 years. Not once have they ever been dug up for repair or any unusual maintenance. To spouters and ACE officials declaring high costs of repairs and other enormous problems underground, I say hogwash! This is nothing more than scare tactics and low-information people bloviating. We already have underground utilities on the island and there have never been problems. Just ask residents who are hooked up!
