It was bound to happen a fatal car-bike collision in Stone Harbor. Speed and driver attention should be policed more in town. Also better bike rules and regulations are needed. Doesn’t matter who was at fault, more vigilant patrolling is needed. A possible remedy would be to take 6 feet on both sides of 2nd Ave medium and restricting cars to one lane each way would give bicyclists a better riding alternative. Present bike lane is a danger due to driveways and cars parked at curb. Also just bikes in bike lane. Put a running track in at 80th St field.
