Instead of raising water and sewer rates the council should improve the quality of the water provided. They send out a chart saying that quality falls within specified accepted requirements. Take a sniff of your kitchen sponge or look at your toilet after water has been sitting for a few hours. Sponge stinks and toilet bowl has dirt ring at water level. Each AM in season the smell of chlorine in water is overbearing. Let’s worry less about block parties and bike helmets and tend to town infrastructure.
