Incompetence in the Boro continues. After the pump station debacle, trash reductions and DEP permit fiasco just to name a few, we now face big increases in flood insurance due to a change in CRS rating. We’ve known about the increase for months and only now, just before the change takes place are we are hiring a consultant to help. Why did it take so long to address the problem? Avalon and SIC already had better crs ratings and took steps to keep their rating. Why not in SH? Despite these mistakes the mayor, admin and council are giving themselves a big raise. It’s time for a change in SH.
