I was on the beach yesterday when a family that was from out of town and new to Stone Harbor were approached by the beach taggers. They were told that they needed tags. After they got over the initial shock of $8 each for the day, they tried to pay with their phone and were told cash only. Now we have an app for parking in SH and you can’t use cash for parking, but on the beach it’s cash only? Can’t we get an app like the parking one? I can see taking a wallet to town, but to the beach? Where it could get sandy or stolen? For $8 a person a day, I’d think the town can afford it.
