The Fire Chief and Police Chief should have Borough issued vehicles. With that said, they don’t have to be a new-year, luxury sports utility vehicle with all of the bells and whistles. The real foolishness is the fact that DPW managers and the assistant fire chief have Borough-issued vehicles , especially while living within 5 miles. I bet they’d save money if they’d compensate them with gas and mileage costs instead.
