I want to thank Officer Garay of the Stone Harbor Police Departm

Stone Harbor / Drexel Hill - I want to thank Officer Garay of the Stone Harbor Police Department for kindness after the rainstorm Jan. 10. I was an overnight guest with friends on 3rd Avenue between 82nd and 83rd Streets. At 8:50 a.m., there was a loud rapping on the door. Officer Garay was there advising us that my car parked on the street was surrounded by water due to the rainstorm and high tides. He helped me squirrel through the neighborhood to 83rd St. and then onto 3rd Avenue. He started my car and moved it to dry ground. Without his actions, my car would have been ruined. Kudos.
