Since the Council says that the comment section of the meeting isn't meant for debate with them, the public should begin their comment with a question. That should not elicit debate but require an answer to the question. For example, why aren't the rules for the beach being enforced? Why aren't you requiring an audit of the Fire Company? What are you doing to lower our taxes? Make them respond to the public comments.
