A comment online to a spout from Stone Harbor made an important observation. With all of the Class I and II cops in Stone Harbor in the summer, it would be nice to see them do something besides write tickets for overdue meters. Bikes and even skateboards come close to bowling people over in the business district and bicycles ride through the streets with no regard for state law or common sense. The police are quick to cite someone who glides through a stop sign at midnight or turns right on red at the wrong place, but they have no concern for real quality of life issues.
