Believe it or not the town did buy a multiple unit property for affordable housing. They purchased the property with funds they obtained for charging for approvals for the Nuns to tear down their old building and get approval for the building lots. Not sure if it ever has been utilized for affordable housing due to previous tenants not leaving.
