Stone Harbor / Avalon - Stone Harbor and Avalon should sponsor a local program to help fund solar panels for residents' homes. We should also build our own power substation to collect and store up the power accumulated. Then we should build wind turbines and/or tidal power generators. Imagine a Seven Mile Island that is able to provide much if not all of its own power needs. Short of that, we should at least look into what many towns did after Hurricane Sandy: buying power wholesale and being in charge of our own electricity needs.
