Stone Harbor / Avalon - The only viable reason to not bury the power lines is the up-front cost. That's it. All the other reasons being put forth are outright lies. If the lines are buried, we would not be without power for longer periods of time during outages because redundant lines are buried, so that if one line goes, there are others to compensate until the faulty line is fixed. And actually, over time the cost of buried lines is far less due to, you guessed it, less maintenance required. So tired of the completely fabricated propaganda being spread to overcompensate for a terrible decision.
