I can't understand why many people are so opposed to merging ser

Stone Harbor / Avalon - I can't understand why many people are so opposed to merging services between Stone Harbor and Avalon. Don't these people realize that doing so will result in thousands of saved tax dollars in their individual pockets every year? New Jersey is in severe financial distress and people are leaving the state by the droves as the result of our excessive taxes, thereby resulting in even less incoming revenue. Merging services is going to be mandatory across the entire state in the future, and it's in the best interest of everyone.
