In Stone Harbor, we thought that we had to change the bird sanctuary so that we would get more birds back. We did change it; we cut into it, all the while thinking we were helping. We cut trees and removed underbrush, we changed wetlands and cut paths into it, and guess what we have now? We have a people park. There still are not many birds here, and the true experts I have recently read about, and that do not have any financial interest in it, believe it is because we intruded.
