Alert to all people who love to catch fluke: I am hearing that regulations for DE may allow for 16 inch minimum, while NJ will be at 17.5 or possibly 18 inches. DE and NJ fishermen overlap some key fishing spots; the Old Grounds and Reef Site 11. By allowing DE to catch 16 inch fluke, those will never grow to the NJ catch size and could result in a marked reduction for NJ fishermen. Please get involved and make a call to your NJ rep, senator and Gov. Christie to voice your concerns.
