After nine years of "discussion," there's still no new library in Stone Harbor, and no real plans on paper yet. This is disgraceful. This is not the way our elected officials should be working for us taxpayers. In these nine years we have paid $12.6 million in library taxes to the county and received almost nothing in return. When will our mayor and council wake up? Pull out of the county library now and do our own, like Ocean City and Avalon successfully have.
