To the person who replied back to me about the issue with Lake Nummy being closed all season at Belleplain State Park. It still doesn't answer as to why they closed it down. How can your personal contact say its a lifeguard shortage? Did they close down any beaches this summer because of a lifeguard shortage? I only go to Lake Nummy to swim so why should I have to pay? I even feel for the campers who can't enjoy the lake. I live close by and I enjoy it. I hate going to overcrowded beaches on the barrier islands. As hot as it's been I can't believe they can't find one lifeguard for the lake.
