South Dennis - There have been many recent spouts, some positive and some negative, regarding the effectiveness of the speed humps on Gravel Hole Road in So. Dennis. Now, Eldora residents want speed humps there. Because all Dennis Township taxpayers foot the bill for these type of projects, they need to be done right. Although well intended, the three Gravel Hole speed humps are spaced too far apart on the straightaway portion of the road coming from CR 657 heading to SH 83. There should have been at least four speed humps installed to regulate a uniform 25 mph. Hopefully, Eldora will get it right.
