South Dennis - Route 55 will never get built if people insist on following the Route 47 corridor. Route 55 should turn at the Route 49 exit, follow it straight across to Route 50 and follow Route 50 down to a new Route 50 full interchange at the Parkway. While crossing wetlands will still require approvals, it will not require the number of approvals necessary along the southern coast. Also, the road will be located near the center of the county, allowing more of the shore towns to be served by it.
