South Dennis - National Night Out is an event that occurs nationwide to increase awareness about police programs, community watch groups, and other anti-crime efforts. It's a real shame Dennis Township Committee members feel this issue is not important enough for our community that they decided to cancel this event, and with very little communication prior to canceling it. In this day and age where there is so much negativity, you would think our committee members would want to promote such a positive event. Please remember this when it's time to vote again this November!
