As a person who signed the petition to install speed bumps on Gravel Hole Road in Dennis Township, I will be the first to sign a petition to take them out when this roadway is next repaved. Summer traffic ignores the "local traffic only" signs, and thousands of cars speed across this roadway - which is a straight runway 3/4 of a mile long. The problem is that many home owners did not want clunky and noisy bumps in front of their houses and driveways, and politics ultimately determined the irregular placement of three bumps that are completely ineffective in keeping traffic at 25 mph.
