Local media and State Police Lt. Pearson report an alarming nine burglaries were committed in Dennis Township in the past two months. Neighbors throughout the township should contact State Police at 609-861-5698 to report suspicious vehicles and pedestrians. Citizen involvement is critical to stop crimes of all types. Although I have noticed more patrol cars in my South Dennis neighborhood, State Police can't be everywhere, as they patrol Upper Township and Woodbine, also. Constables need to be hired in Dennis to ensure safe neighborhoods here.
