So the plan is that military occupation is going to fix the destitute and put them on the road to prosperity and happiness. It’s going to magically transform the drug addict and the alcoholic into sobriety and give them a new life of health, security and responsibility. It’s going to reform the criminals and drug dealers and maybe have them get a job at McDonald’s and live on peanuts. This whole ridiculous subterfuge would be a hilarious comedy if it just wasn’t leading us down the road to military occupation and fascist dictators
