So many of the "outsiders" are blamed for the McMansions being built in beautiful North Cape May. Sadly, the "locals" are just as responsible for the unsightly monstrosities being built. Down the street from my lovely block is a massive house, completely out of place for the aesthetics of our lovely area, and taking away from the quaintness of our cozy neighborhood. So before we blame the new influx of people, let's be fair and realize the locals are just as unappreciative of the history of our little town. We've been here for over 30 years, and these massive homes are just so obtrusive.
