So, first they pass the “Big Beautiful Bill” that shifts the finances of Federal programs to the states, particularly SNAP and Medicaid. Now Trump says because of this war, the country can no longer afford to pay their shares of medicare and medicaid, so the states need to cover more. How are states supposed to do that when they have ALREADY cut federal support. This is all just so when we lose Medicare, Trump can claim that he “didn’t do it” the states did. Don’t be fooled. The current administration has planned this all along.
