Seven Mile Beach - The battle over off-shore wind generation continues. What I would like to know is what we think the alternatives are. Electric demand is going to skyrocket very quickly. The Beachfront towns tear down modest homes and replace them with huge structures that consume enormous amounts of electrical power. Production of electric vehicles is accelerating rapidly. Bio fuel production and Hydrogen production require electricity. So where do you want to put the nuclear reactors? Are they nicer to look at than a windmill on the horizon? Sea levels are rising. Tough choices must be made.
