Seniors beware! When you answer your phone, and hear only dead space, hang up. Scammers pretend to see a note on your Medicare chart that indicates you are missing out on a benefit. Medicare never ever calls personally. You would receive a mail notice. This is a ploy to get your information such as your name, age and Medicare number which can be used to scam you. Do not answer any questions. Not even your age. If you are told you have been over charged and money can be refunded, don't ever, never reveal your banking information. How sad that we must distrust any offers.
