Seaville - Not to be disrespectful or flip, but as a senior I have no idea who the deceased black singer is, yet almost every news station covered his career and death non-stop, using such words as icon and legend. Are we too quick nowadays to go overboard with our speech and emotions, not realizing that many older folk have no clue who these performers are? As a nation, why do we now almost worship any showbiz or sports celebrity?
