Regarding the taxpayer funding of the CMC Zoo. I do not understand why there is no admission charge. It seems that the vast majority of attendees are not residents of CMC. Why do non residents get a free ride on the backs of CMC taxpayers? Voluntary donations do not work especially in this economy! If you visit the Zoo you will quickly notice that very few people offer a donation.Exactly what is the rationale for a free Zoo as taxes continue to rise in CMC? Economic times have changed. Time to charge for the Zoo!
