Why did the county not repave the newly shifted lanes on Sea Isl

Sea Isle City - Why did the county not repave the newly shifted lanes on Sea Isle Blvd.? The westbound lane is full of potholes. The eastbound side has a bad ridge in it that pulls your car all over the place, not to mention the black paint over the old lines doesn't cut it when it's dark and raining. It's hard to tell where the proper lines are to follow. Something must be done before there is a serious accident.
