Sea Isle City - Uber provides an excellent service for our town, keeping drunk drivers off the road. Let's face it, Sea Isle is a bar town; people like to enjoy themselves, which is fine! The mayor, many city council members, and planning board members rely on the bar scene to produce their sources of income. It seems the sole reason SIC is fighting Uber is because the town wants the revenue that comes from charging and issuing DUIs.
