The summer is half over.

Sea Isle City - The summer is half over. The Herald tried its best by publishing a nice, informative article about bicycling, and dozens of spouts have been published too, yet the local police chiefs have done nothing to step up enforcement. It is not being petty or picking on people to enforce laws that can save lives. We all know that the police are busy in the summer, but enforcing these laws is every bit as important as noise ordinances and beach tags. Bicyclists ride without any regard to the law, their own safety or the safety of motorists, and they have done so unabated for several years.
