Sea Isle City - To a spout regarding the pool at the public school: Yes, we do have gorgeous beaches that people love to visit, but SIC is also a year-round community. An indoor pool would certainly get visited and utilized. I do agree that we need open space now more than ever. Creating a bird sanctuary/park in this space is an excellent idea. Take the Avalon/Stone Harbor wildlife sanctuary as a model. An asphalt parking lot in this space will add to density, and diminish property values. Whereas a bird sanctuary/park adds green space and can only boost property values in the neighborhood.
