Sea Isle City - The residents of Sea Isle should petition the planning board to designate the historic St. Joseph Church as a historic structure. Surely this building fits the criteria and the designation would be welcomed by the community that cherishes the building. It has cultural significance and is important to the fabric and story of Sea Isle. History can't be left to the first floor of the library. It should be preserved while we have it right in front of us. It has been demonstrated that the community wants to preserve this sacred building. The pastor and small committee should take note.
