Sea Isle City - In regards to the capital plan: With all due respect to City Council, if the overwhelming majority of Sea Isle residents want the former firehouse to be used for recreation, then that should be its purpose. Council members Tighe's and Gibson's lone opinions should not be enough to dismiss the opinions of other taxpayers who have supported it at our capital plan workshops. Besides, it is such a short-sighted solution and only a minimal amount of spaces would be added. I don’t believe they have any professional experience in urban design to justify these positions over other taxpayers.
