To expect residents to fund this, in addition to a substantial tax increase paying a per use or yearly fee, is “double taxation” on every resident that might choose to visit the facility and is truly disingenuous. Not to mention this would be an onerous burden on those of us who might never use the pool; another expense most of us would prefer not to agree to. Paying an additional thousand per year - in our case - is neither desirable nor ideal.
