Sea Isle City - Patco offered free rides on New Year's Eve to keep drunk drivers off the roads, and here Sea Isle is still fighting Uber. If our town leaders truly cared about keeping drunk drivers off the road, they would welcome Uber. Their current reluctance to embrace the service makes me wonder if the town is that dependent upon DUI fines for its revenue streams. It's immoral for the safety of residents not to take precedence.
