The old church is unneeded and becoming a wailing wall for a diaspora of a religion that was abandoned, with times changing and a disappearing, youthful membership. The old church would be best sold to those who find satisfaction in physical memorials and not be held as a burden for the new. As Christ would say, "Let the dead bury the dead."
