Sea Isle City - One of the benefits of living in Sea Isle is getting to appreciate the diverse wildlife that inhabits our barrier island. The natural beauty makes it a great place to live. You shouldn’t be precluded from experiencing glimpses of this natural beauty if your house is not on the bay or ocean. Many bird species visit the island and I worry that paving more lots, and tearing down our few remaining trees will damage this fragile ecosystem and detract from what makes SIC a great place to live. Just within the past few years, we've seen the diamondback terrapin population significantly decrease.
