Sea Isle City - Officials in Sea Isle City need to see that a paid fire department is absolutely necessary. We have a paid police department, a paid ambulance corp, but the fire department is supported by volunteer members. Our town swells by the thousands during the spring, summer and fall seasons. There are many members that don’t reside in town and their response time can be affected by summer traffic. We need our town protected by a paid fire department. Before the city drops millions into a new rec department, they need to assure the residents safety first and employ firefighters.
