Sea Isle City - In the nearly two years since having stood humbled among the gravestones on the sacred bluff above the beach at Normandy, I have sensed a growing feeling of loss and futility for the sacrifices of all those young men. With the election of 'the Donald,' we have squandered so much. Our alliances are dying. Perhaps it would be out of respect if the headstones were turned to face the East, for that is where an evil empire is again seeding itself along the Volga. To continue facing West, they would see only evil's agent and a dictator's monkey army.
