Sea Isle City - Many, if not most of the property in the shore communities are owned by people who don't live in the town on a year-round basis. Because of that, they are denied the right to vote, and hence loose control of their tax dollars. Has anybody read Dunn v. Blumstein 405 U.S. 330 (1972)? I am not sure how well this will fly in view of the fact that NJ Constitutional issues also are in play, but it would seem to me that this is a starting point for some good legal arguments.
