Sea Isle City - At the last council meeting, our city council discussed ways of enhancing outdoor dining and drinking to the point of ad nauseam. When an opportunity to freeze property taxes for homeowners/residents over 65 was broached it was "blown off" in a heartbeat. Clearly, most of the sitting members of council have moved toward representing business over homeowners/residents. A successful, tax-stable community has leaders who are mindful of this balance.
