SEA ISLE CITY - I think it is disingenuous to impugn the motives of those who are opposed to wind farms being built off our coasts by suggesting that they are simply opposed to progress. I support progress and efforts to create renewable energy sources. At the same time, I think we need to appreciate the natural beauty of our coastline and not destroy it via unsightly structures. The wind farms should be built further out to sea so that they don't destroy the beauty of looking at the ocean. Creating jobs is also great, but let's remember that these windmills are being built by a Dutch company.
