Sea Isle City - I have a hard time understanding the rationale to tear down the historic St. Joseph Church. It seems like it is more of a cost burden to tear it down than to preserve it, not to mention the fact that tradesmen and contractors have offered their repair services pro bono. Financial numbers don't lie, and it is evident more people than not want to sustain this 135-year old church. The diocese should reassess this decision because it is causing more harm than good in Sea Isle, especially in a time when the Catholic church has bigger issues to address.
