Sea Isle City - I am pleased to see the beach replenishment project moving forward in SIC. The beaches were basically gone in the TI section of town prior to the current fill. It looks great and it will be a terrific summer for both residents and visitors. I am 100% in favor of beach replenishment. It is needed to preserve the island and the recreation of thousands of people. Having said that, I do believe that after all these years some brilliant mind would have come up with a better plan instead of just dumping tins of sand every 3 years. As they say, it’s the best bad idea the Army Corps has!
