I am appalled at what happened on 32nd street dunes this weekend

Sea Isle City - I am appalled at what happened on 32nd street dunes this weekend. The trees on the dunes that are protecting the homes have beeen cut down and when I called the city, they said it wasn’t them but my neighbor said he saw a public works truck there. Does the new encroachment ordinance passed allow this to happen? Or is it just someone wanting a view of the ocean from their decks? Does The city administration really care what’s going on in this town?
