Sea Isle City - Heartbroken to learn Sea Isle City is causing an undue burden on TI Civic Center to pay taxes. With all the ratable properties in town and new condos being built, you would think the city would be content with its revenues. The TI Civic Center is a not for profit organization, a historic community center which has been a staple of SIC fabric for generations dating back to 1888. Most mayors and city councils would work to get such buildings protection and designation on the National Registry of Historic Places. Sadly, our officials don't seem willing to honor Sea Isle's rich history.
