Sea Isle City - God bless our VFW who fund raise this weekend with the sale of T-shirts, one in the color of yellow and the other in the color of sky blue, the Ukrainian flag colors. Insodoing, they recognize fellow national defenders in Ukraine who have stood against a malignant Russia in defense of democracy even defeating the Russian army and sinking their Black Sea flagship. Some of us once stood stern against them at Check Point Charlie, in Cuban Crisis and stood their navy down with rounds in the chamber off Israel, Yum Kippur 1973. Well done, glad the VFW has not forgotten.
