Sea Isle City - Foxes have been living on the beach here in Sea Isle City for almost a decade and now the city wants them removed, which will surely be a death sentence for them. Why? I thought the city was a friend to the animals, but I guess not anymore. What they need are signs to stop people from feeding them, not to remove them.
Moderator's Note:
According to a city release, two foxes spotted on city beaches recently were believed to have mange (a skin disease found among canines) and traps were set to capture the mother and her pup to transfer them to an animal rehabilitation facility, where the mange could be treated.
